Surveyors North is a survey, planning, engineering and consultancy practice which was originally established in 1954. However, the philosophy established over the years of providing professional land development and planning services to a high standard has not altered.

The primary objective of management and staff of Surveyors North is to provide clients with professional and efficient consulting services in both the private and the public sector to a consistently high standard which meets or exceeds their expectations.

Alan began his surveying career in 1977, and has been in private practice since 1993. Alan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Planning from the University of New England NSW Australia, and is a qualified surveyor. Alan specialises in resource management, land development consultancy, Iwi consultations, Transportation planning and District planning matters. Alan is a member of a variety of professional bodies including the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors, the Consulting Surveyors of New Zealand, the Resource Management Law Association and the New Zealand Planning Institute.
